Mission and Job Duties
Sr. HR Planning Specialist is responsible for creation of HR Policies and Strategies for both the long term and short term in order to attract and retain high caliber talents to achieve strategic objectives of HMGICS.
Senior HR planning Specialist is also responsible for leading HR functions such as organization management, recruitment, compensation and benefits, and employee-relation in order to attract and retain high caliber talents to achieve strategic objectives of HMGICs
Roles and Responsibilitiess
- Setting up HR Strategies, for both the long-term and short-term in all aspects of HR
- Setting up HR Policies, including but not limited to policies such as termination, etc
- Owner of the Manpower Planning Process (including for the Long-term, Short-term)
- Owner of the Training & Development portfolio, including setting up our training strategy, training policies and processes.
- Expat Management, including setting up policies related to expats working in our office and also the administrative work required in supporting our Expats.
- Management of Organizational Chart
- Keeping track of all the key projects within HR team and working with other members of the HR Team to ensure that the projects are completed successfully within timeline
- Lead HR Management function to effectively bring value to the organization
- Build and maintain a close rapport with employees to ensure that business needs are taken into consideration in developing HR initiatives, and that HR Standards/Procedures are implemented and fully understood
- Work closely with incumbents in structuring and developing their respective team
- Ensure high caliber talents are recruited, developed, and motivated to achieve business objectives
- Manage recruitment of managerial and non-managerial positions in collaboration with the line department
- Manage performance to maintain fair, consistent and continuous development of talents
- Lead personnel planning, annual salary negotiation and promotions
- Implement compensation and benefit planning to maintain internal and external competitiveness
- Ensure compliance of the organizational practices with respective labor laws and regulations; secure internal and external legal support if required, and achieve organizational goals
- Take ownership in HR projects (e.g. Performance Evaluation)
- Ensure extraordinary/poor performers are identified and appropriately recognized
- Manage data accessibility to performance results, personal information, individual salary, individual employee relations and other critical information
- Actively communicate with HQ to ensure clear and consistent HR decisions
- Clearly articulate and define the value and culture of the organization to plan HR management activities accordingly
- Perform other occasional tasks/duties related to the job

Background - Education / Working Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (all majors)
- Total 5-8 years of human resources experience
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in large MNCs or ICT or Auto Industry
- HR Consultancy background is preferred
Professional Skills - Knowledge & Skills & Others (Certification etc.)
- In-depth knowledge in HR labor legislation
- In-depth knowledge in HR trends across industries
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to efficiently communicate with people from different cultures at a variety level
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong interest in IT
Language Skills
- Fluent English
- Proficiency in Korean is desired but not required
