Philosophy
ONE-STOP SMART FACTORY, a new paradigm that works with customers and communities from production to delivery.
The design has been carried out in a way that body (Internal functions) follow suit (External design) so far.
However, HMGICS focused on and configured the internal functions for production and operation to meet customer needs through a smart manufacturing innovation platform and then apply external design accordingly.

The first version was designed to emphasize Bold and Simple shapes, and the program was reconstructed to form a front CUBE that integrates functions (except production) to create interactions.The vertical TOWER-shaped front CUBE, which contrasts with the rectangular horizontal production space, implemented a Powerful and Symbolic form.
Since then, the HMGICS design has been developed to maximize the efficiency of the production space by concentrating work/R&D facilities and car parking on two towers.In addition, the design has been improved in:
Rooftop track – improved with the concept of forest driving/test track
Exterior space – improved to be suitable for Singapore climate
Office area – improved to be efficient working environmentIn other words, it was developed by further reflecting the design direction of the connection between the internal function and the external design. The developed design with consideration of the various functions in the building and the flow of external vehicles, pedestrians creates a harmony with the nature.
The design has realised functional interaction and maximizing production efficiency by connecting 2 separate towers with factory building to meet both functions and values SMART FACTORY pursues.The dynamic shape was emphasized through Sky Track implemented in function and design. Functional Eco design is displayed by Solar PV panel and Green cover. Simple and Powerful SMART FACTORY design is completed.
